Louie and Harry Beatty successfully competed in the 2012 Kings Open, Harry came away with a Gold Medal in Sparring and a Bronze in the Speed Kick competition. Louie performed well, coming away with a Silver Medal in Sparring and Gold in both The Jump Kick and Board breaking competition. And in doing so earning himself the overall trophy for best Senior competitor.
In doing so Louie becomes the 3rd Player in as many years to take out the Overall trophy for best competitor at the Kings Open, following the performances of Beau Brown (2010), and Daniel Delaney (2011).
